A big THANK YOU to all that participated in the 2nd Annual Joe Strong Memorial Golf Tournament that was held on Saturday, September 13th @ Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri.   We would like to think Joe himself was responsible for the great weather we had that day and amazingly we were able to get the tournament in rain free.   Former Blues defensemen, Bob Plager, served as our honorary chairman.  Our double-shotgun event was attended by 150 golfers, 40 tremendous volunteers and several others joined us for a catered dinner by Kenrick's Catering.  Our event raised over $6000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.  The tournament traveling trophy was given out to the winning team of David Hampton, Dan Berger, Bobby Douglas and Ed Castletto, who shot a sizzling 56 in the morning round!!

A huge debt of gratitude and thanks goes out to everyone that sponsored, participated and volunteered in the First Annual Joe Strong Memorial Golf Tournament & Life Celebration, which was held on August 11, 2007 at the Golf Club of Wentzville!  The tournament was a financial success for the Joe Strong Memorial Fund benefitting Joe's sons, Benjamin and Steven.   Below is a summary of the individual and team winners from the golf tournament:
